haven't used v4, but the most v5 ever took was only half of my VRAM(my card has 11gigs, but still. that's half used at most). It's the CPU that's doing a lot of the heavy lifting for me.

MSFS 2020 though....a different beast. and it shows in the nice graphics.

thats why i change to xp11, to have more fps and less ram usage, also use vr

in p3d v5 you need a graphics card with 8+ gb of memory
